Educational Qualification
Qualifications vary by post. The principal requirements include:
- Technical Assistant: First Class Diploma in the relevant engineering discipline from a recognised institution.
- Scientific Assistant: First Class B.Sc. with Physics as the main subject and Mathematics and Chemistry as ancillary subjects, or the specified Fine Arts/Visual Arts qualification.
- Library Assistant ‘A’: First Class graduation and a First Class Master’s Degree in Library Science/Library & Information Science or equivalent.
- Nurse ‘B’: First Class Nursing Diploma of at least three years’ duration, recognised by the government, with registration under the relevant State Nursing Council.
- Technician ‘B’ and Draughtsman ‘B’: SSLC/SSC pass with the relevant NCVT-recognised ITI/NTC/NAC qualification, as specified for the trade.
- Fireman ‘A’: 10th pass with the prescribed physical fitness and endurance standards.
- Driver posts: 10th pass, the required valid driving licence and the specified driving experience.
- MTS: Matriculation/SSLC/SSC or equivalent pass.

Selection Process
