Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police & Central Armed Police Forces Examination, 2026 for recruitment to SI posts in Delhi Police and CAPFs.

Total Tentative Vacancies: 2,018
- SI (Executive) – Delhi Police Male: 205
- SI (Executive) – Delhi Police Female: 112
- SI (GD) – CAPFs: 1,467
- SI (Fire) – CISF Male: 234
Educational Qualification
- SI Delhi Police & SI GD CAPFs: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university/equivalent.
- SI Fire, CISF: Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics OR relevant 3-year Engineering Diploma as specified in the notification.
- Male candidates applying for SI in Delhi Police must possess a valid LMV Driving License on the date of PE&MT.
Age Limit
As on 01 August 2026:
- Most posts: 20–25 years
- SI Fire (CISF): 18–30 years
- Age relaxation applicable as per Government rules.
Salary
Pay Level 6: ₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400
