Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (CMWSSB) has invited online applications from eligible Graduate and Diploma Engineering candidates from Tamil Nadu for one-year Apprenticeship Training for 2026-27.

Training duration is one year.
Eligibility
Graduate Apprentices: Full-time B.E./B.Tech or equivalent qualification in the relevant engineering discipline.
Technician Apprentices: Full-time Diploma in Engineering/Technology in the relevant discipline.
Candidates must have passed during 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 or May 2026. Candidates who have already undergone/currently undergoing NATS/NAPS apprenticeship or have one year or more experience are not eligible.
Selection Process
Shortlisting will be based on the percentage of marks obtained in the prescribed qualification. Shortlisted candidates will be called for certificate verification at CMWSSB, Chennai.

- Last Date for NATS Enrollment: 17 October 2026
- Shortlist: Fourth week of October 2026
- Certificate Verification: First week of November 2026 (Tentative)
How to Apply:
1. Step 1: Visit the NATS portal https://nats.education.gov.in/.
2. Step 2: Register as a student/apprentice if you do not already have a NATS account.
3. Step 3: Log in using your registered credentials.
4. Step 4: Search for Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board.
5. Step 5: Select establishment ID STNCHS
6. Step 6: Enter your qualification details and percentage/CGPA correctly.
7. Step 7: Apply for the relevant Graduate or Technician Diploma Apprentice position.
8. Step 8: Confirm that your application status shows Applied.
9. Step 9: Complete the application on or before 17.10.
10. Step 10: If shortlisted, attend certificate verification at CMWSSB, Chennai.
Candidates must register/enroll through the NATS portal and apply against the advertised CMWSSB vacancy. Candidates must enter their percentage/CGPA details and upload the required provisional certificate or consolidated mark sheet.
