Educational Qualification
For Mate Mines (Fresher) and Driver-cum-Mechanic (LMV), candidates must meet the prescribed 10th/Matric qualification requirement.
For the other listed trades, candidates must have passed ITI in the respective trade from a recognised institute.
Candidates possessing higher professional qualifications such as Diploma/B.E. or equivalent are not considered. Higher academic qualifications such as B.A., B.Sc. or B.Com do not receive additional weightage.
Age Limit
Candidates should be 18 to 25 years of age as on the prescribed cut-off date.
Age relaxation in the upper age limit is provided as follows:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
Other applicable Government guidelines will be followed.
Stipend
Stipend will be provided as admissible under the applicable rules.
Selection Process
Selection will be based on merit, using marks obtained in ITI and Class 10.
- 70% weightage: Relevant trade ITI marks
- 30% weightage: Class 10 Board marks
For trades where ITI is not required, such as Mate Mines and Blaster (Mines), 100% weightage is given to Class 10 Board marks.
In case of equal marks, the candidate with the higher age will be considered. Selected apprentices must also be declared medically fit according to HCL requirements.

Step 1: Register on the Government of India Apprenticeship Portal and select Hindustan Copper Limited, Malanjkhand Copper Project.
Step 2: Submit the online application through the Hindustan Copper Limited website.
The notification specifies a One Applicant – One Application system. Candidates should apply for only one trade that matches their qualification.
