1. Deputy Chief Financial Officer (Vice President)
Department: Accounts Department
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA).
- Age Limit: Minimum 45 years and maximum 55 years as on 30 September 2026.
- Age Relaxation: Age is not a constraint for the right candidate, as stated in the notification.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience overseeing financial operations, preferably accounting and taxation matters, in banks, large corporates, PSUs, financial institutions or financial services organisations.
- Employment Type: Regular.
- Salary: As applicable to Vice President.
- Job Location: Head Office, Thoothukudi.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Managing financial affairs and statutory accounts.
- Preparing financial statements for audits.
- Handling taxation and GST-related matters.
- Managing financial controls and reporting systems.
- Implementing Ind AS.
- Developing financial strategies and budgets.
- Monitoring capital and liquidity management.
- Advising senior management on financial performance and business strategies.
2. Mobile Inspector of Branches
Eligibility Criteria
- Age Limit: Not more than 62 years.
- Eligible Candidates: Retired officers of TMB or other banks.
- Eligible Cadres: Scale II, Scale III or Scale IV at retirement.
- Preference: Candidates with previous inspection or audit department experience.
- Service Record: Officers with an unblemished service record are eligible.
- Employment Type: Contract basis.
- Contract Period: Initially one year, renewable for another year based on satisfactory performance.
- Monthly Pay: ₹35,000 consolidated.
- Job Location: Anywhere in India.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Inspecting bank branch activities and operations.
- Checking compliance with RBI regulations and bank policies.
- Verifying KYC and AML compliance.
- Examining cash transactions, deposits and advances.
- Reviewing loan documentation and internal controls.
- Identifying operational, credit and compliance risks.
- Inspecting security arrangements and pledged assets.
- Preparing inspection reports and recommending corrective action.
- Following up on previous inspection observations.
Selection Process
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a personal interview. Interviews may be conducted directly or through video conferencing. The date, time and mode will be communicated individually to eligible candidates.
